Precision Aluminium XYZ Probe for CNC Zeroing

The XYZ Probe (touch plate) is a detachable precision accessory designed to streamline the zeroing process for CNC operations. It enables accurate detection of the X, Y, and Z axes by completing an electrical circuit between the probe and the tool bit, allowing your controller to register the exact position of the workpiece corner and surface.

This probe is built with a conductive aluminium plate and wired to a standard 2-pin connector compatible with most GRBL-based CNC controllers. The Z surface is isolated from the X/Y edges to allow multi-axis probing routines without interference. It’s ideal for setting your machine’s origin point (0,0,0) with repeatable accuracy, especially when working with custom jigs or irregular stock.

The setup includes a grounding clip for the spindle or tool shaft, and the probe can be easily removed after use to avoid obstruction during machining.
